Vineta a very well, welcome. Thank you for joining us today. What made you decide on a career in Finance?

Vineta Bajaj, CFO, Rohlik Group:

It’s a couple of things. Finance was a really great springboard for many career options. You can qualify as an accountant and you can start your own business. You can be a business partner, an accountant, work in large organizations, or do something completely different because a basis of Finance is helpful in nearly every career path.

Phil Dye:

You’ve had a stellar career trajectory to date, with Rohlik being your first full CFO role. What drew you to the business and that role?

Vineta Bajaj:

I always knew I wanted to be a CFO. People would always ask me why? And I’d say, “Because if I’m not at the top of my game, what’s the point in following a path?” And I’ve just always had that in me.

Phil Dye:

In your opinion, what is the role of the modern-day CFO?

Vineta Bajaj:

The modern-day CFO is in the trenches with their team, driving the business’s value and clear, tangible pound value to the PMO.
